Mark has represented homeowners and other litigants in disputes arising from construction defects. In working on these cases, Mark is able to combine his experience in complex litigation with his pre-law school experience working in the construction industry, where he worked as an estimator and project manager for a large construction company in Oklahoma City.

Representative experience

  • Represented the family of a man who was electrocuted by the defective installation of a ground-fault circuit interrupter. Claims were asserted against the electrical contractor and the manufacturer of the electrical outlet.
  • Represented a homeowner whose kitchen remodeling contractor refused to complete the project unless the homeowner paid additional amounts over and above the contract price.
  • Represented the purchaser of a home who later found that the acreage of the lot had been misrepresented to her by the previous owner.
  • Represented a homeowner who paid a contractor for a new addition to her home, only to have the contractor pull off the job after demolishing her backyard.
  • Represented a residential homeowner in a dispute over construction work done to surrounding sewage lines that caused the home to be flooded with raw sewage on several occasions.
